Abarth Style Bumper Blocks..

Post by radiopilot »

I'm planning on removing my pipe bumpers on my spider and was hoping anyone has suggestions for sources of
the abarth bumpers beside the $499.00 versions on Bruce's, since they are the only ones selling them.

I see that Jeep CJ bumpers were used in the past but don't like the fit of that one based on the pics...

Any suggestions....

Every few weeks those Abrath style bumper blocks are available on ebay for around $260, I don't know if anybody has bought any off of that seller.

mine will be all fiberglass-more of a visual thing than a real bumper

I still don't think the jeep ones should be knocked out of consideration if you want an Abarth look. I think the application ON a bumper shock looks different than they would mounted onto the car itself. Just something to consider.

Mark... any way to get the molds designed and have true rubber bumpers made with structural brackets that attach to collapsed shocks?

I want something that'll protect at least the front end some. I think there's enough interest to have plenty here to buy these bumpers.

The ones on ebay are fiberglass mock ups also, not actual bumpers.

Nick, there is a guy on eBay that sells them all the time. I paid about $300 for them. His name is HW.

Drop me an email, and I'll look up his information if you are still interested.
