How do I top off the weatherstripping behind door?

I recently had the weatherstripping around the doors on my '76 Spider replaced and it looks like whatever goes over the top is missing.

Here's a photo of the area I'm referring to:

I have what I think are the correct rubber caps:

I can't figure out how the caps fit. Assuming I have the correct pieces, can someone share how to install these?

The caps you have are for the later spiders, but they will fit. I don't believe the earlier styles are available anymore There is really only one way they will go on if you just play with them. Once you have them in place put in a few rivets to hold them.

I think those caps might fit at the top of the upright between the window and wing window. I'd be interested in knowing where you got them because I'm missing one and there's a sharp bit at the top of that upright that keeps getting caught on my top (when it is up) which prevents the door from opening.

Got those from International Auto parts and specified the year so I assumed they'd fit.

Does anyone have a photo of them installed? I can't seem to figure out how they go own no matter which way I turn them.
