Rear Window Cleaning

Post by noKYspider »

My "new" Spider has a dirty/cloudy rear window and I'm wondering if it can be restored. Here's what the window looks like. http://www.flickr.com/photos/79353296@N ... hotostream I looked at some convertible window cleaner from Griot's Garage http://www.griotsgarage.com/product/pla ... y=ourPicks but don't really know if it's worth trying. Does anyone out there have any suggestions of what to try out?

you will never get the window back to new, but you can make great improvements. the plastic headlight cover stuff should work fine. it is a cleaner/very fine polish. you can use a standard paint polish as well. dont confuse wax with polish. what i am talking about is a polishing compound. it is an ultra fine rubbing compound.

I used Meguiar's Plasti-X. Works really well and not expensive
