Re: drain and fill plug location help
The drain plug is located on the bottom pan. The fill plug is the first image you linked to (on the passenger side about 2 inches up the side)

Re: drain and fill plug location help
Remember to loosen the fill port plug before draining the fluid. If you drain the fluid and then can't loosen the fill plug, you're screwed.

THANKS FOR THE HELP..... got the manual today in the mail... it says to drive around and heat up then drain... car is up on jackstands now... can i run it in gear for a few and accomplish this or just do it cold and it will take longer for it to drain?

Re: drain and fill plug location help
Definitely better when warm. I used to run my car in the winter when it was up on the stands, warm up the engine and then plow through all the gears, revving it up, letting the rear wheels spin, but be advised this is not the safest thing to do; if any vibration, etc. causes the car to rock off the stands there will be an obvious problem. I did it only while sitting in the driver' seat, at the ready. It will take awhile to warm up the transmission, probably better to just take it down and drive it around for 15-20 minutes, running through all the gears?

Re: drain and fill plug location help
It has always made me nervous running through the gears on jack stands so I agree. Take it around the block.
