First drive of the year...

Post by majicwrench »

FINALLY got some decent weather....it rains a lot in Libby. And my girlfriends Escort just started hammering. Anyway, got the 72 124 Spider out, cleaned the idle jet so it would idle ( this happens every year ). Been wondering all winter if I really NEED this car, takes my time, store all winter in my shed etc etc. Well, I just took it to town to run some errands and am once again in love. What fun, humming down the Highway with that wonderful sound, dogs hanging out the windows, wow. Summer is here, I will ponder again if I NEED it this fall, for now, I DO NEED IT!

Don, Nick & I down here in Coeur d'Alene feel the same way. We talked about a road trip up to see you last year. This year we need to make it happen and quit talking.

That's my trouble......I want to DRIVE my Fiat not fix it. The thought of it being down for long is really depressing. So, when something breaks, I fix it, and keep going.
Of course, this would be a great reason to have TWO drivers :) Might have to work on that....
