In both the parts car ('75) and the restoring car ('72) I have 2 large washers left over (2 from each car) in my bags labeled for the "top and rear side panels". Any idea where these were supposed to go?

The upper mounting bolts for the top frame need to be spaced out with those bad-boys.

They're used as shims for the upper bolt for the top frame where it attaches just behind the door opening.

Re: Extra fat washers after swapping tops
Thanks! Do they go behind the plastic panel or in front?
At least I have made it to the mode where the car is actually going back together, instead of taking one thing off and discovering something else that needs attention. Trying to remember where everything goes is the problem ...

Answered my own question -- it goes on the side. I should have looked on the other side of the car. I had the plastic panel in a slightly wrong position.
