Correct color for the spare rim

1984 Spider, the original steel spare rim is rusted and looks to have been rattle canned flat black. Does anyone know the original color for the spare rim... argent, hammered argent, silver?? Thank for any help

I see a lot of white ones. Mine is white and it seems like original paint. That's on a '75 though, so it may be different.

argent will be fine
its your spare and mostly for looks
if you are doing all your rims then it will match
factory was silver and black,i think
when you do everything correct people arent sure youve done anything at all (futurama)

I scrapped around on the black and it did look argent. Many thanks for the info
