oil pan paint

I just got through pounding out dents and sandblasting my oil pan. I was wondering if there was a special paint I should be using or is Rust-oleum ok? Also, hoe should I prepare the inside? Thanks

I'd be leaving the inside alone other than a clean with perhaps brake cleaner.
I cleaned the outside of mine with brake cleaner to get any oil residue off,sprayed with sandable primer , it dries in about half an hour, and then sprayed with a black engine enamel. Finished the next day with canned clear and any dirt/oil wipes of fairly easily. I did most of the parts on the underside the same way...trailing arms, axle, drive shaft... when the car was being put back together.

It would be a good idea to use an engine paint, high temp resistant, as the oil pan gets pretty warm.
