I've been searching (thru the back postings here) for quite a while and see mention of a "Bosch 69133" part number for a replacement pump for an 80 FI car, but that means nothing to the Agents / importers here.
Does anyone know the old series Bosch part number ? It is about 15 to 20 characters long. I've looked in my injection manual but the pump is not mentioned.
Bosch part # for FI fuel pump ?

Try this one, which is what I bought:
http://www.highflowfuel.com/c-284506-fu ... pumps.html
$80USD vs. about $240 for the Bosch, also on that same site. No-brainer.

Someone must have a parts book or a spare pump on the shelf with a number on it ? Surely ?

Do some research a commodore VL pump, they seem pretty much similar, I have asked for a VL filter and it was the same as the fiat unit but half the cost....124cso wrote:I've been searching (thru the back postings here) for quite a while and see mention of a "Bosch 69133" part number for a replacement pump for an 80 FI car, but that means nothing to the Agents / importers here.

Actually went to local holden dealer and got laughed at. Have been unavailable as a holden part since 2009. They failed so often, they have run out.divace73 wrote:Do some research a commodore VL pump, they seem pretty much similar, I have asked for a VL filter and it was the same as the fiat unit but half the cost....

The original pump was 69133 and it is still available as NOS. In addition Bosch makes two universal pumps that fit, requiring only minor changes at the electrical connectors, 69412 and 69414. All three Bosch pumps are used on many European cars of the period. Check http://www.rockauto.com or your local Bosch parts distributor.

That's the trouble and reason I started this thread.
According to the injection outfit (local Bosch FI agents) I am dealing with, the 69133 number means nothing. They say they need a number like - 0 580 464 XXX !
There is a supplier in Hong kong selling them on Ebay for $17.95 (yes, that's right ) but am a bit dubious as to what I might get. But so many things are made in China now and HK is now just another chinese port so ??

Re: Bosch part # for FI fuel pump ?
Was going to make a comment about local repco outlet but computer had a whoopsie. Perhaps something was trying to tell me something ?????
Anyway, finally found the correct Bosch (germany) part No. for the 124 spider EFI pump -"0 580 464 019 " and was quoted US$587.89. Consequently will not be buying from them.
