Who owns a lift. Recommendations for a small garage
Who owns a lift. Recommendations for a small garage
I've been googling lifts all morning. I can't afford one at the moment, but I want to see a price for one that would fit in my garage. I have a very small garage. The floor is approximately 11'x20' with about a 10' ceiling. If I move the lift front to back I may be able to get 13' clearance for width, but I'm sure it would sacrifice something. Anyway, if anyone has one small enough for that space, let me know or if you know a lift with those specs. Most are wider than 132" from what I see. I do all the work on all my cars, so in the coming years this would be a sound investment.

Oooo. Actually. Just measured more accurately and it looks like from wall to wall it is 143" and foot wall to foot wall: 137"
Hmmmm... Okay. Who's go one? Let's hear it. scissor lifts freak me out. I'm looking for a two post like the one you see on Wheeler Dealers.

That is the one I have. Works great and you can unbolt it from the floor and put it away when you are done. But I only got it because I have 8' ceiling and could not fit a normal asymmetric two-post lift.Wheel wrote:Here is a link to one from Costco.

In your case, ceiling height is not an issue... For a lot less I suggest going with this one:
