Interior Door Panel - How to remove window handle

Howdy,

I'm trying to remove my interior panel, but I don't know how to remove the window handle. I got the black cap off, but I don't know what to do next. Please advise.

Hello there,

I'm trying to remove the window door handle too, I click on the link that Danno suggest but it says that the link no longer exist or it was removed. Could you tell me how to remove it or send me some pics?

Here is the thread that indicates the tool needed. It is inexpensive and works like a charm! Using it will avoid damage to the door panel.

If you can gently pry the plastic ring back a bit, you will see a small wire omega shaped clip behind. Rotate the handle untill the top of the clip is up and see if a small set of needle nose can grab it and pull out. Failing that take a small screwdriver and push on the bottom of the clip to pop it off. You'll see a recess in the shaft from the door, the clip fits in there keeping the handle on.

I bought the tool and I was able to take the window handle in less than a minute. Again, thank youfor your replies and suggestions.
