Are all radiators the same aside from the 2L radiators?

Sadly, no.

There is the 1800
a 1608 one
and the early 1438's had a different one as well

The 1592s share between the 1800s and 1608s.

In general it makes no sense.

Do you happen to know the dimensions of any of the radiators? I have two in possession and I have no idea which ones I have as they are different sizes. I'm assuming they all have the same inlet and outlet locations.

the inlet and outlet are in the same position, but the angle of the lower outlet varies. Also, some have a filler neck that is different. Despite the monkeys' claim that the sizes make no sense, the radiators got larger as the motors increased in size. The angle of the lower outlet changed due to the use of the external thermostat and the changes in width. The changes occured in the filler neck as the hoods changed

Oh thank you Mark for clarifing what I said. The comment "in general it makes no sense" was in jest, but thank you for making it more clear.

Now to actually help the poster, which you did not do Mark.

My stock 2 Ltr radiator measures 21.25" from outside to outside and is 18" tall.

I can confirm that the radiator from a 2L '79 is wider and taller than the radiator from my '76 1800. The thermo-switch protrudes quite differently as well, and the 2L one actually contacts the sway-bar when set in place in my '76. And the filler-neck is tall enough that the hood would touch it (allthough only slightly).
I'm no Boy-Racer..... but if I can't take every on-ramp at TWICE the posted limit.... I'm a total failure!
