Someone Show Their Car In Southern RI For Me

Every week on Fridays through the whole summer there is a car show off exit 1 on 95 in RI. Right on the boarder of CT. It's a place called The Pavillion. When my car is done I plan on bringing it there. Anyone looking for something to do with their car, bring it! PM if you go. I'd really like to see other people's cars. I NEVER see Spiders at shows, which is why I hope to have my car at this show before the end of the summer.

I live down in groton and I would consider attending the car shows, but my recently acquired 72 is my new driver/fixer. I would love to see other owners spiders as well. Hopefully we can meet up sometime.

FYI, ocean beach on Monday nights hosts a car show also, I might start attending those too.

Oooo. I didn't know that. We like Ocean Beach. Will you be attending with or without your car? I'd come down to that. My car won't be on the road for a while. But when it is, I will let you know where I bring it. Maybe I'll try and bring it to Groton.

My plan is to drive the car the whole summer as I work on it. I plan on attending as much as I can with my car. Let me know when the shows in RI start.

The one on Exit 1 off 95 already started. They had two shows so far. Friday nights. I plan to go and look around every friday. I just started my car for the first time yesterday. I have a lot more work to get it road worthy. My personal deadline is June 1st to get it on the road. I will also be driving it and working on it.

I'll throw a post on here if I intend on going to the show at The Pavilion this friday (4/27), it will depend on the weather and my sons lacrosse practice.

i was born and raised in R.I. and really miss it! especially the food! but the snow got to be too much for me so i moved to Georgia. i now own a 1979 Spider. the best i can offer is to send you a picture of my car and you can sit it on the ground at the next meet!

I'm dangerously close to getting my car on the road. I will be calling it "my jalopy" for a while. But I plan on taking it to the Pavillion and seeing if I can get a few of the CT and RI guys on here to meet up. No one walks over and looks at the MGs... sooo... we'll need power in numbers if we want people to look at the Fiats. LOL

Lots of cars, but I was the only Fiat. Many people thought it was an Opal at first glance. Feels a little out of place being surrounded by muscle cars though.

Yeah. It's heavy muscle. I can't wait to go. Two weeks ago there were about five MGs. At quick glance I thought they were Fiats. Mainly because of my high hopes. We'll have to get three or four of them there one night. Make a spectacle of ourselves! Cross your fingers that I get everything registered easily.
