Tomorrow all the usuall suspects will be at my home to take apart my totalled 1980 spider. Hope to use the parts as a transplant for a future spider purchase.
Have to mention my insurance company. Very nice people to deal with. Great customer service. Very professional. American Collectors Insurance Co. out of Cherry Hill, NJ. A class act.
Will post some pictures tomorrow evening

Since you still have the car, did you work out a deal with your insurance company to buy the car back, and if so, how much

Yes I did. $425.00. Well worth every cent.

Sounds like a fair price. I have the same insurance company, glad they are treating your claim right. Was your spider FI or carbed?

It was FI. I have a 82 being restored right now so I hope to transplant the parts from the 1980. We are having a NJFIATs breakfast next Sunday. Why don't you come down?
