Thinking about a black hood....

My Hood has a couple of small imperfections that I want to repair. I was thinking that instead of trying to match the original paint, that I would instead just shoot it the same black that I used on my rocker panels..
Any thoughts?

Might look kind of ABARTHish and you could always do the trunk lid later.
