After a huge fiasco with the delivery of a refrigerator at my condo (the fourth replacement one and they sent the wrong one again), I decide that I needed to work on the project Fiat so I would feel like I got something done today. I didn't want my precious vacation day off to be a total bust.
So I pumped all the fuel out of the tank (2 year old gas that was orange in color), removed the tank, cleaned it, scraped off all the undercarriage goop, sanded it, repainted it, painted inside the trunk and put it all back together. After adding some fresh fuel, the car seems very happy and really revs up much faster and without the white smoke it had prior to draining that old and nasty gas! Vrooooooooom, vrooooooooom.
Next step....the dreaded smog test.
