Needed to clean up this intake manifold and I got some simple green, a plastic tub, and a sponge.
I took a couple pictures cause the intake was really bad.

I use Simple Green to clean the pitch build up off of my table saw blades, it works very well, sprayed on, let soak a little, scrubbed with a scotchbrite pad.

Did you use it undiluted for that piece? I love it diluted to 50% to get brake dust off my morotcycle rims - you just have to be sure to rinse well, to get it all off.

no i did the "heavy" dilution. It was 1oz simple green to 1/2 cup water. Considered going stronger, but didn't really need it. Most of it just wiped right off.
