Car Cover

Can anybody recommend a car cover for the 124? Would mostly be using inside a garage to keep the dust off during winter. But would also be using on overnight trips.

I've liked the "Noah" I bought years ago from IAP. Washes well and fits well. I'm sure other vendors offer similar or same.

I bought one from here years ago. Many ,many years ago. It has lasted and is still almost like new. You get what you pay for I guess. Looks like they have added several variations sense I bought mine, not sure which is the equivalent. I don't often recommend something like this, but I've had so much success with mine they deserve the credit.

If all you want is a dust cover, you can make your own from two king fitted sheets. Sew one big seam to join the two together.

Everyone I have heard with a California Car Cover has loved it. I have the Noah I got from the previous owner. He had the car under it outside for a winter. Now the car is left outside under an overhang with just the cover all the time. It does great in the little rain that gets on it.

A little water will get through it, but that means the moisture underneath will be let out, too. I would absolutely trust it in the rain if you were on a trip with the car overnight and get some rain. Whenever I drive the car, the cover goes with me, just in case (also because the top doesn't go up all the way).

I like mine, price was right ($62.). Waterproof, breathable. Made by Budge; recommended to me by some helpful person on here.

Wikkid, do you think it will fit with a trunk rack on?

The #2 fits great with the trunk rack. I am just down in MD and went to check out where the car is stored under the Budge cover. All is well with cover, and most importantly, with car. I have no criticisms, especially for the price.

One caveat: they say (and this would apply to all covers, I am sure) not to put a car cover on a car that has been painted in the last 6 months - give the finish time to cure, out-gas, whatever it needs to do without a cover on it, or imprinting into it. I have no idea if this is just super-caution, but it's what they say, FWIW.
