My '73 Spider has been a work in progress since I purchased it. You know, one of those sight unseen purchases where the buyer and seller have different standards. Although I plan on selling the car soon, I've been trying to make it much better than I found it as time goes on. Today I thought I'd fix the fuel pump and trunk panels as the pump was dangling around and never actually mounted. I mounted the fuel pump to the chassis using common rubber isolators. I then took the original panels and shot them with truck bed coating. I also added a JTL catch can that I purchased off of eBay. I made an aluminum bracket and mounted it to the distributor cover bolt. I ran the hose from the factory oil/vapor separator to the JTL can, and then into the air intake plenum. Adding the can really helped smooth out the idle, and made the car run better at all RPMs. Air/fuel mixtures seem to burn much better without oil vapor!

Nice job, looks great. I like what you did to the trunk boards, never thought of that.
