Weber 42 DCNF manifold for 2000 engine
Weber 42 DCNF manifold for 2000 engine
Does anyone know where I could find an intake manifold for dual Weber 42 DCNFs? Has anyone ever done this/does it exist? Also, what is the general opinion on keeping dual carbs tuned? My understanding is that I need a good setup and then tune about once a year. Anyone want to offer an opinion?

You might have a bit of searching to do to find one. That wasn't a widely used setup. Reason is that DCNFs aren't the best choice for a Spider. They'll work but their float bowl orientation makes them better suited for use on transverse (128- X1/9)or V motors. For the 124 a more suitable carb setup would be IDFs or, with some modification, DCOEs. If you're particular about using DCNFs have you tried enquiring with any vendors about possible supplies of old stock?
Good luck.
Good luck.

Joe,
Thanks for the response. I was looking at getting a pair for a good price, but after some researching and based on your comments I've decided to bag that idea. I'll start looking for a more tried and true implementation.
Thanks again

IDFs are what most people run 40s are most common but 44s are also a choice if you have a larger engine .
