Very cool. My buddy has a Mekur sitting in his garage. They are fun little turbo-charged cars that blew away the competion so bad they got band in Europe... lol... The real problem with them is the turbo, though. It's the old style, not oil cooled, and tends to burn up fairly quickly, and are becoming more difficult to find. His car is basically all original and in great condition, except for the turbo.

Had a 1986 XR4ti with the 2.3l Turbo Pinto Motor. Original owner was an SCCA racer who upped the boost to 17psi vice 12. Car was a rocket. Expensive to maintain. Wished it had the 6 like in Europe. They still sold the Cosworth XR4 long after we couldn't get them here. Don't know why European Fords don't sell well here.
