CS1 Seat Bottom Cushion Wire Armature

Post by opus10583 »

Hi,

Is there a source for the CS1 seat bottom wire armature, the frame the seat skin gets hog-ringed to?

Has anyone here fabricated their own replacement?

Materials used?

Does anyone have dimensions and a sketch?

Thanks,
Mark
...Yes; I know what it means: Fabbrica Italiana Automobili Torino.

OK...

I'm it then, am I?

I guess what I'll do is order up some mild-steel rod and a copy of Kreskin's Secrets of Mystical Spoon Bendin', and have at it.

I think a local body shop should be good for some light welding/brazing.

...Chromate prime with the leftover's from my Campies and come May it's a thing.

I'm rubbish with picture documentation, place your requests early.

Ciao,
Mark
