Re: My Second Fiat - The Runner
Nothing new on mine... need to get the bolts for the rubber bumpers to install them in the back, need to figure out how to install them in the front.
Also need to start the install of the carpet, but I have to replace a rusted fuel line before doing so. Car is also not running again, but I think it is the coil, need to swap for a coil from the parts car and test again...
Anywho, I did stop by Frank's house last Saturday to help him install the steering idler/stabilizer and replacing the brake reservoir. No photos of the process, sorry, completely forgot. But we did take a video of the driving for testing.
First time using the video camera, so I had the wrong case on it and it muted the sound. A pity since Frank's car sounds sooooo sweet. We will do another run with proper video camera settings
Here is the link to the video on youtube

Love the dash in that car! You kept the camera nice & steady too, nice job.
As you were starting the car, I loved to look on the face of the young lady watching. I cannot count the times I've seen that exact same look...!

No, not yet... I will follow the recommendation from others...which is to just weld it.Ky2000 wrote:Very Nice car. I like the color. Have you had a chance to fix the driver door hindge crack yet? I have a small crack too and need to know how to fix.
Right now the car is not running, I think it is the coil, just got the spare one I had from the parts car. Testing tomorrow. Then to finish with the POR15 painting of the inside floor and continue the interior work...

Almost done now...Snoopy wrote:Nice car, interesting storys, wonderful garage. Here is snow and cold again and i can do nothing in my cold small dark garage...
(I wonder when you finish your Porsche ?)
and in the process I picked up another 911 project... This one went straight to the body shop to get body work and paint done...
I finished the work on the engine, only need a new set of headers and exhaust... See more details on the link in my sig under RS Transformation.
FIAT Spider now moves back to continue the work... I promised my wife that she will drive it on April 1st... her birthday, not a joke
