We hit 77 degrees today in Chicagoland! I had to turn on the air conditioning in the house!!!

Usually this time of year it's a muddy, messy, thawing snow, cloudy-grey, 35 degrees & raining sort of mess. THIS is lovely, a much more civilized sort of Spring!

Nicely spotted, Nathan! I adapted that wheel, as it sits four inches closer to the driver to help alleviate the 'straight arm' driving position!

The Chick 'n Dip is an old 1950's drive-up burger joint. The house specialties are "Broasted Chicken", and "Dipped" ice cream cones. They have an extensive menu, accept only cash, and NOTHING has changed since they opened more than 50 years ago. Lot's of classic cars gather there, Men love the place, women hate it.

I like it because it's west of town out where the Chicago suburbs cease to exist, where I can let my Spider run free between the corn fields. In the words of my old man, out there you can put your foot in the gas pedal and "let her eat". And after a spirited run, I'll pull into The Dip, let The Beast cool down, and I'll have a burger and a shake while I admire the nice lines of my car.
