What is the name of the blue steel color of my 1983 Spider

Trying to figure out the name and color code of my 1983 Fiat Spider. It looks like a blue steel.

I have also been looking for the same paint code/color for my '83 Spider for a very long time-"steel blue." Seems that once Pinnifarina took over production and distribution of the Spider in '83 there became next to nothing in the way of resources for information-paint, electrical, etc. I even went as far as e-mailing Fiat Corporation for info and never even recieved a reply! If the paint code was on a sticker on the inner trunk lid then mine has fallen off and disappeared. The tag on the front of dash has no such information concerning paint. If you ever are able to dig up the color/code please consider passing the information on to me. I will do likewise.

Option 1: Talk to a tech rep at TCP Global, who will research for you.
Option 2: take off the gas cap lid and have the underside (cleaned up and) color-matched by a good paint shop.

Iveseen stickers for laters cars paint codes on the trunk lids. Kust find another car with the same color.

"876 Azzuro Met" Just saw a post for this same question on the site!!

The 876 is from my car, but there was also a darker steel blue - maybe not that year - I don't know. Here's the link to the other post, where I give a guy's contact info at TCP Global - he was super-helpful.
