Any advice on carpets?

My 124 needs new carpets, and I'm thinking red cut pile.

Was wondering if I should buy online from one of the Alfa folks, or if I'm better off taking the car to a local upholstery shop as I might have better choices and control over the final look.

Would love any insight as to people's experiences.
