Discount Codes
Discount Codes
Anyone have any discount codes for any of the online sites for Fiat parts? I try to buy local when I can, but some of the things we need for these little Italian beasties you just have to go to the web. I was just hoping that maybe we could pool together some discounts to at least offset the shipping costs or something.
Re: Discount Codes
Auto Ricambi and IAP both offer sales, either reduced or flat rate shipping, or some percent off. You may want to get on their mailing lists. Other vendors may do this as well - I don't have experience with them.
I find vendors' Fiat parts prices to be reasonable. Imagine if you were fixing up a BMW or a Porsche!

Or a Toyota or a Honda! Try buying a head gasket for a japper, if you can find the right one, and a good one won't be cheap.wikkid wrote:I find vendors' Fiat parts prices to be reasonable. Imagine if you were fixing up a BMW or a Porsche!

Re: Discount Codes
Well, I bit the bullet and paid the $46+shipping for an oil pressure sending unit. Seems a bit steep to me. I figured closer to $20, but I don't make parts so what do I know.
Re: Discount Codes
IAP is currently having a flat rate (around 6 bucks) shipping special, sitewide. Look for the sales - there are good ones all year round, from at least the two vendors who I turn to most.
