Check out this video (restored '82 Fiat 2000 FI):

This guy did a pretty good job with his restoration. I noticed the bumpers, especially the rears. So you think that these are off of a 1600? I thought maybe, but the rears are in two pieces and I thought the 1600 had a one piece bumper. I never really cared much for the 1600 bumpers, but if that's what he's got on there I might change my mind.
I'm still not sure if I'm going to drop my chromed fencepost bumpers but I thought this looked pretty good. I like the chrome, I think that the Spider looks good with chrome. Any opinions on either (the origin of the ones in the video or the aesthetics of the big chrome tubes)?
Where did these bumpers come from
Re: Where did these bumpers come from
The bumpers on that car are from a 67-73 124 spider. Non california or maryland cars also had them in early 1974. Late 1974 was when they were changed to the big tube bumpers.

those are 73', you can tell by the rear guards.

I agree with Rey. I was working at a So.Cal dealership in 73' doing pre- delivery, accessories, etc. That's what they came off the truck with. Also my 73' parts car had bumpers like that when I sent it to the crusher [poor car didn't have a good panel on it]...J.D.
