One is never enough....Italian Mistresses that is.

After being "bikeless" for a number of years, I just couldn't take it anymore and thanks to a tax refund this year, I was able to add another "Italian Mistress" to the garage.

I got a good deal on this 2007 Moto Guzzi Griso 1100. It's a "crate back" bike. Brand new, never titled, had 6 miles on it when I picked it up today. What a great feeling being back on a bike :D

So Craig, now we have to fit in the Atlanta Area drive in the mountains and a day on the bikes!

And here I just sold my Honda Hawk GT to finance my Bertone X1/9 project!!!

Not that my Hawk GT could have kept up with that Moto Guzzi anyway, that is a beautiful, mean looking bike. I saw one parked outside a restaurant last week in a light flat green color, and I's sure I was actually drooling as I stopped to look at it.

Congrats!!

They do have some really good "crate back" deals now. My friend Mike that drove me up there is now thinking about selling one of his Mustangs and getting either a Guzzi or one of the Aprilla Tuono's.

Thanks! The light green ones are the 8 valve Special Editions - very, very nice. Seeing one of those in traffic about 6 months ago is what got me OBSESSED with getting another Moto Guzzi (I had one in college), but more specifically a Griso.
