installed 36 dcnf,s, they fire right up. need to hook the choke up so i dont have to pop the bonnett to start when cold. i sand blasted both manifolds, the intake and the ex, they werte both pretty ratty looking. i think i need better filters, these have seen better days. its a bit loud right now, no exhaust is hooked up at the moment. i need to paint one, as they also look pretty ratty.

it starts right up, and idles after its warm.. i need to put the wheels back on to take it for a ride though. hopefully tommrow i can get this done. ill put the exhaust on it from the orange car so i can paint the other one during the week. maybe i can get it by your shop this week? and i need to finish installing the stereo. i opened up the carbs and cleaned them out as best i could. i was pretty surprised how fast it started wnen i put it together today. seeing as i couldnt get it to start the last few days.

Looking good Rey. It'll be good to hear what you think of the carbs. So, since you started with Spiders, what do you think of the X? I'm still muddling through several issues with mine. I did get the new slave cylinder on and had to stand it on it's nose to bleed the system. Now I'm working on a rough idle when cold.

Looks like a lot of fun Rey ! I worked on a lot of X-19's at my last dealership job [lot of valvejob/timing belts, and clutches]. I didn't drive them much though. Seems like my mixed european ancestery and good american diet makes it hard for me to fit in one !!...J.D.
