Keep them both and park the new one outside.

But if I had to choose, the auto trans Spider would be the one to go. I can totally appreciate the idea of keeping the wife involved. Would she consider learning to drive the 5 speed?

She knows how, but is uncomfortable with it (and therefore unwilling to drive one).
