Search function not pulling old posts

When I use the search function, my searches are only returning posts from 2008. This topic got buried in another thread so I thought I would start a fresh one so others could easily follow.

Search should be working better now - I went and re-indexed the whole database.
Try it out, I'm able to get old posts. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
