That blue one is just mean looking, and not to busy with the decals either.

I'm really out-numbered here - much prefer the clean lines of the regular facory cars.

The original design, IMHO, is pretty hard to improve on, and I think the longevity of the design while they were still being produced and the enduring appeal the car has even today is a testament to just how good it really is. In fact, I think all of the 124 designs are pretty hard to improve on for normal use.

The rally versions are really geat looking rally cars if you are going to actually race it, but to me, they don't make much sense on the street. And if you are going to race it, then you need to do the engine and suspension mods that make it actually run like a rally car, otherwise it is sheep in a wolf's clothes.

Rather than go to the trouble and expense of hanging body panels on it, I personally would spend the money on the things that make your spider go really fast and handle well - and have a classic that will run like hell - the wolf in a sheep's clothes.

Just an opinon, and BTW, I really do think the Abarth conversions are one of the best looking rally cars of that era.

Your not really out numbered. I like that car, but nothing beats ther clean lines of an unmolested early car. But with a flat hood.
