Where can i find a step by step procedure on changing the vee belt on my 84 spider.

Factory manual?
It's pretty easy, just loosen the alternator, move it toward the engine, put on new belt, pull alternator toward you (you will need a prybar or some such to keep tension on it), tighten bolts, done.
You will need someone with experience to show you how tight the belt needs to be.

Always apply leverage close to the pulley, never against the rear of the housing.
