What is the best shop manual for 1980 Spider esp. suspension pictures etc. for idiots ,thanks treefrog

There are so many, but the factory shop manuel is pretty good. Its a reprint. I dont know who sells it but it comes up on ebay. Most any manuel should do though.

I dont know why. But I have bought at least one of every manuel that I have come across. Some are very old but still in plastic.

the best solution is to grab as many different sources as possible. Haynes, Clymer, Brooklands, factory manual, and a few others, all have some information the others don't have.

I bought one and its a gold mine! Pictures are a little dark is my only complaint.

I have Haynes, Autobooks, Clymer and Fiat factory.

I find them all useful. The factory one is for a mechanic who doesn't really need a manual so although the data is likely the best, the explanations and illustrations are not the best.

The aftermarket ones are written for people fixing their cars. I tend to read all of them before a procedure to understand the process and look at the pics. I rely on the factory manual for torque data.

Your mileage may vary but they don't cost much and honestly they make the process much much easier.
