1984 back floor cover
1984 back floor cover
Anybody have a photo of what the original platform in the back seat area looks like and how to make one or where to get one.Mine was so badly damaged and smelled so bad i pitched it and did not make a template.
Re: 1984 back floor cover
I don't have a photo or anything but a few years back, a guy made a shelf and posted the dimentions. I printed it off and used them to make a shelf in the back of mine and it fit like a glove.
I just did a search on rear seat shelf storage and it popped up. Check it out. Mine turned out really well.

The plans to make a custom fit bottom section can be found here : http://www.fiatspider.com/f08/viewtopic ... ompartment
But, the hard part is trying to duplicate the molded plastic section that they used to cover where the rear seat upper section would have been. I haven't seen anyone with a way to duplicate that? I also tried in vain to find a good used one but new stuff / parts cars pop up all the time. maybe post in the "parts wanted" section.
