ZEP cleaner

Post by Divers »

Now that I have found my engine is a mess....is there ANYTHING inside that cannot be cleaned by soaking in ZEP cleaner? I was going to run to the local home depot and buy 2 big containers and just soak everything.

Problems?

great question. I was going to do the same however, the guy at the store told me to be cautious of electrical and to disconnect battery.

My engine is out and apart....I just want to make sure FIat did not use some "funky" metal in the engine (you know, like they did with the brass synchro's in the tranny!).

Any input would be welcomed.

I allways use the black botle 88. Very good and strong degreaser. I think is better then ZEP
