I have two doors to a 79 (dr and pass). I think the driver's door needs the hinge re-welded. But, no rust or dents. Do you need the glass too?

ya should be able to take a door that needs welding to a good body shop and have it welded for around $100

if thats what it takes to save a doori say"hells ya"

Ventura Ace gave me a door from his stash for just such a situation. It's a good door, but just the shell, no hardware, no glass, no interior panel. I'm not positive it's the driver's side (it's in the Ventura warehouse, i'm 100 miles away for a few more days). Assuming it's what you want, it's yours for the cost of shipping. Let me know if you're interested, I'll find out which side it is ASAP.
