It's a sickness....

Post by RoyBatty »

I just couldn't let this one go to the wrecking yard.
The guy I got it from does pick up and delivery for wrecking yards. He was going to repair it and then decided to sell it since he had too many projects. There were no takers on craigslist and when I called to look at it he said it was going to the wreckers in a couple days if it didn't sell.
The PO punched a hole in the block by running it out of oil. I think this is a good candidate for repair and sell or do a slow resto before selling. It was registered thru November of last year for an indication of how recently it was being driven.
So for $300 here she is.

Wow, they converted it to a rear engine layout! I bet that screws with the handling!
I guess it is a Porsche wannabe.

Not bad, especially for $300. I'm a big advocate of keeping Spiders out of the wrecking yard!

Those mirrors alone should recoup some of your investment. <{:^) My wife says it's a damned good thing that the garage houses the business, and we have a small yard, so I don't fill it up with great projects. As it is I need to unload my 1970 Honda CB350 twin. Great shape, easy restoration, just no time.
