I think i know the answer but is it worth having the ownesr manual or should i invest the 60.00(with shipping cost) for the shop manual.
For example what oil does the spider take and what is the capacity. I also want to know what oil filter it takes and a source.

Re: owners manual vs shop manual
the owners manual will have basic data. Some of them did have electrical schematics in the back. If you get a Haynes manual or something similar, it will cost much less and have all the info you will need.

Re: owners manual vs shop manual
I found the shop manual slightly used on evil-bay shipped for $30
So if you don't mind used & are not in a big hurry, look around they come up now & then & maybe save a couple $'s.
I had bought the one on cd first but the resolution was so bad in the illustrations that I jumped on the book when I found the deal.
& yes the Ricambi Originali shop manual is the way to go, the haynes & brooklands (which I have both of also) are great for the overall picture but nothing can compare to the shop manual, covers everything in detail!
Definatelly worth the cost (even @ $60) if your doing the work yourself.
