What Was Under the Christmas Tree?

Post by sptcoupe »

We are with Scott and Katy (son and DIL) in beautiful San Diego. Big hits under the tree for us were a V-12 Ferarri Soundracer, which when plugged into the lighter makes Scott's FIAT 500 sound like a Ferrari V-12 (at least inside the cabin), and for me, an autographed copy of Guy Croft's book! I also had an ABARTH T-shirt stuffed into my stocking. Cool.

What FIAT/car related things were under your tree?

the best: my daddy-o sent me a check for $3k. this is my 2013 fiat budget. (still working on the 2011 cash.) this should insure a well running spider for years to come. The wifey did come up with a few seriously decent cabs....and afterall, what goes better than dark chocolate, cab, and a top-down spider.

I got the Cinquecento 500 book with 4 music cds included in the cover. The book is the history of the Cinquecento from the 50's through present day and has plenty of pictures and diagrams.

Sounds interesting, do you have link to it or a more explicit name? What kind of music?

There is nothing on the inside pages to tell me anything about the book or who the author is. Very strange.
The songs on one of the discs include
Abbronzatissima
Sotto Questo Sole
Niki Twist
Un'Estate Fa

Best for me was spending time with my Mum and our son, daughter in law and 9 month old grandson - first one!! A four generation Christmas! Having a little one puts Christmas into overdrive once again!
Oh yes - the remote control helicopter was a pretty good gift...and the bottle of single malt scotch. My wife gave me a hand made metal "Man Cave" sign to hang over the door to my toy box - aka garage.

The Mrs bought me the "Reflection" package from Mothers. Car wash, waxes, clay bar, back to black, etc.
Now that the car is almost done ( if that ever happens ), I guess she thinks I should keep it shining.

Yep, mine's been getting a workout, great fun! I got a new wok, a diamond steel and some handmade chocolates, although I don't know what I'm going to do with 6 prepaid golf lessons!

I got a new 18Volt dewalt drill.replacing my 14 volt that has been dead for most of the year.but it has been a great drill. Almost. 20 years of flawless service.also a picture frame for my 2011 panoramic photo. For the office. And from my brother in law a nice assortment of cigars

Good luck on your father son build. I have a 3 yr old son soon to be 4 . And there is nothing like a father son build. My wife hates it. everytime we get a box of parts its like Christmas to him. He is pulling parts out holding them up say look at this one dad. Wife just shacking her head.
I will. Be leaving for clarksville Tenn. Tue. If you need anything.
