Stored for the winter?

Post by kmac33 »

For those of you poor souls that have already winterized your Spiders and put them away for the winter.......it is currently 70 degrees and sunny in Atlanta...and my Spider(and I) are loving this weather.
I even took my new "Breeze Beater" off the roll bar today!

Why do I live in Canada? My Spider has been in it's Snuggy (car cover), parked in the garage since the middle of October. Only 3 or 4 more months to go  ... Spring can't come soon enough!!!!

Took my car out on Wed. but yesterday we had an inch or two of that s... so its tucked away till the roads are clear and dry.

yes yes... I know why I live in Canada (there are many good reasons, Big Rock and Healthcare are prime examples) ... just when it comes to Spider related issues, I could think of a few reasons to live somewhere warmer with a few extra driving days!!!

Hay, as an American, I take offence to that. I personally had NOTHING to do with the bailouts! Nor, did I agree with them.

Just Kidding! I know you're just goofing and I'm not really offended

You see, as a male, caucasian American under the current political powers in place, I am not allowed to be be offended by any remarke made against my way of life, chosen religon or general belief. Moreover, I am requirred, by law, to appologize for any and all jokes I have made allong with any cultural customes and beliefe that I have. In addition, I am requirred by law to make financial restitution to any and all peoples who may have been wronged, oppressed or generally put out by any past, distant relitaive that I may have or may not have had going back to a time in history not to exceed the landing of the pilgrams at Plymouth Rock (lucky me). Also, If you are from another country and wish to live in the USA, I am also requirred by law to help feed, house and provide for you and your family not to excluede medical coverage for as long as you wish to stay and make me pay for your crappy heritage and home land. So to clarify and cover all my legal obligations that requirre me to coddle, console and hold dear to my heart the feelings, cultures, beliefs, religous ceremonies and general personal feelings of ANYONE other than fellow white, male Americans like mysefl, I would like to say that I am truely sorry for being a white guy living in America. I hope you can forgive me. Your check is in the mail.

And of course a BIG plus to living in Canada is, we get in to import European cars 10 years before Americans can. :)

yea!!! Let's all go to Cuba!!!

I'll stay in Texas where I can drive my Spider in excess of 300 days a year. Please don't stab me!!!

Katsi, I see your point. lighten up a little. The liberalism that has taken hold of America and is demonstated by the Occupy Wall Street (OWS) movement. The Fed spending at a log-linearout out of control crack addict manner putting us in debt up to 16 TRILLION! Double standards with respect conduct and commentary between nationalities/races/religions.

People are starting to wake up and realize ideas with some merit have been taken way too far! For example, blocking the pipeline from Canada that will create 15,000 jobs not including the secondary support jobs in communities across the country. Forget about the economic sense of increasing supply and managing fuel cost. Nope... Let's let the Chinease drill right off our shores when we are not allowed to drill or build pipelines. We will see a Cultural revolution if the conservatives can get thier act together.

I'll pay for my healthcare if it means future generations of all race, creed, color, age... (all protected and unprotected people) can have the same opportunity in America that I have had AS AN AMERICAN CITIZEN. I predict the next politically incorrect term will be "illegal alien". After all, to use a term like illegal alien to define a foreign born person who has entered our country illegally is just dehumanizing.

So, lighten up will you!!! Just be cool and let the facts speak for them self. All will be resolved in time if Rome does not burn to the ground first.
Buon giro a tutti! - enjoy the ride!

So to get us back on track.

Kevin, I too dropped the top today here in Atlanta. Weather is sure changing tonight though, I think we may be sticking our Spiders back in the garage for a while.
