not convince excessive speed was involved. the damage to the cars look consistent with normal arizona hiway speeds (75-80 mph). The big issue with cars like these is they are seldom driven and usually by drivers who are inexperienced with such a power to weight ratio.

UHH, doesn't supprise me a bit. I think I read somewhere that their are so many accidents in Japan that all cars are requirred to have an onbord camara.

They can build em - it's the actual operating of a vehicle that give the Japaneese so much trouble.

I was amazed that when they talked about this accident they were actually making jokes about oh yeah a prius was in the mix.
