For those that might not know, Mark had knee replacement surgery last Tuesday, and is recovering at the moment. Here's to walking without pain soon, Mark! I've heard that one exercise that helps is pushing the gas pedal to the floor. (actually Mark told me that one).

Hurry up and get better, Mark! Ron saw the scar on your leg and decided your doctor uses the same chainsaw as his.

Hey Mark - I had my knee replaced a year ago this week. The first 6 - 8 weeks are the pits. Then it gets better quite quickly. It's critical to rebuild the strength in the muscles above and below the knee - so make sure you really work at that. The flexion will come. I was back on the golf course within 6 months and am now back curling.
There's a great forum called 'bonesmart' (google it). You can get all kinds of advice and more importantly peace of mind. I likened it to spiders.com for knees.
Cheers,

Did you replace the bushings too? A new knee is no good without new bushings as well. Just kidding. Hope you feel better soon. :D

Good one...
Hope the swelling and pain get tolerable quickly Mark. The new year will present itself with new found mobility.. now you can get those parts that fall on the shop floor to the geographical center of the car.
