Re: Another Abarth commercial
Nice special effects, but I think it would have been more creative if it was handled as an alien abduction. Imagine a bunch of aliens with the standard emotion-less faces abducting the 500 then retrofitting it with gadgets out of their spacecraft (same kind of special effects as the commercial already has)...then the image cuts to an autocross track with the Abarth just smoking the field with its handling and speed...tearing around corners, braking hard into the corners, wheel lifting on the inside around a curve, lots of autocross like sliding...the car "wins" the race and the alien steps out, it removes the helmet and you see its face ... it forces a little smile as a scorpion crawls across its shoulder. Ends with the Abarth logo.
That'd appeal to me more than just the glitz of the special effects. Copyright 2011...ha, ha.

Wow!
A vinyl stripe!
Painted calipers!
Snazzy wheels!
Just the things I would look for in a performance car

Re: Another Abarth commercial
They're afraid that commercial might sell cars. Too sexy? Nope. Alluring? Definitely!
