While fixing the fan squeel I noticed the heater valve was wet. Just great! I guess that's why the PO had a new one and gaskets in the parts box. How bad do you have to bend the hard line to go back through the fire wall?
Oh, I see Mark has new stainless tubes for the engine back to the firewall but SOMEONE should make the lil one comming off the heater but modified/bent for the X19 valves. HINT,HINT! If I had more time I'd fire up the mill, tig welder, and tubing bender. (I'm a machine shop/welding instructor for Uncle Sam with Nuke and FFA welding certs. and Journyman pipe fitter) Kinda' Busy here!

if you leave the tube loose (don't forget the gasket) when you put the valve on, and tighten the tube after you have put it through the firewall, you shouldn't have to bend anything. we put that in the instructions when we sell the heater valves.

You're a vendor? And you have the correct valves and not one fitted to an X-19?redauto wrote:if you leave the tube loose (don't forget the gasket) when you put the valve on, and tighten the tube after you have put it through the firewall, you shouldn't have to bend anything. we put that in the instructions when we sell the heater valves.
