A bit off topic here, but I would bet fiat500c is someone who was banned for stirring things up some time ago. He knows to mcsh, but no one knows who he is.

I just read the post that Mark had wrote up about Brady. Seems aweful funny that the thread is of course locked and Brady isn't here to defend himself. Sure seems like Mark is a really good guy though. Too good if you ask me.

 Are you guys kidding me??? From what I've read on these two posts clearly states that Brady can't get an undamaged part from a vendor. He clearly stated all he wanted was a undamaged item. Then the vendor comes back and the only statement he can include is one of trying to defame the customers character so it looks like he is the victim here. He still hasn't provided a reasonable answer why he won't stand behind his products! It leaves to question what the vendor intends to do here.

Damini, whats your agenda? The two sides are out there. Get over it. Your a new member with very low post #,s and an agenda. That leads me to believe that your really an old member with a grudge or a new member seeking drama. Either one isnt agood. He has always backed up his produts of me. Now lets just talk cars. This is my last post on this thread.

I'm just trying to make a point. If someone is having a problem with a product and says to other friends they can't get what they paid for, then members are making a big stink about it, all of a sudden when the vendor discloses an excuse that says nothing about why he won't exchange/reimburse for a high ticket item. It's like, what were you wanting?
I see no mention of why Mark won't reimburse the customer if the item is damaged.

I agree with Craig, I am very disappointed!
A while back on another post I wrote "I am sorry I opened this post" .

I personally don't believe these chat rooms are to air personal issues. That includes issues with any of the vendor's. The purpose of this site and those like it is to help one another and share constructive information. Usually the information shared is in response to a request form another member or information that in general can be helpful to others. For me being critical of fellow members or any of the vendors falls outside that purpose.

Lets all get back to having this be a constructive and helpful site. Picking sides in a dispute that is not ours does not aid in a solution.

Compromise is a loose loose situation: Both parties have to give a little to settle. Neither of those parties is me.

Good call, spider2081. Let's stick to issues about the cars. Damini - if you don't like the response, don't buy from Mark. Otherwise STFU and stick to car stuff. Let Mark and Brady settle their differences. As 2081 so rightly points out, it doesn't involve me so I don't care what happens.

I agree with you too. I just think it was unfair to ban someone then defame them when they can't respond back and without giving a reasonable excuse of why the vendor doesn't back his items then everyone just walks away. I won't say anything else. I'm glad I joined this site at the time I did for I really see how it operates. Sorry I said anything.

Gents,

I have read both parties stories and that’s just what it is, stories.
We have no idea what the truth here so shouldn’t both of them be innocent until proven guilty, I don’t want to put any gasoline to this fire since it won’t benefit anyone to have an infected forum.

Just like spiderrey wrote, let’s just talk cars

All of us are big enough to make our own decisions when it comes to buying parts from vendors or getting information, just use this discussion as a guideline for your own decisions.
I think it’s sad that Brady and Mark ended up like this since they share a common interest but I’m guessing that they will sort it out without us interfering, they are grown men for god sake.

We had a similar discussion in our Swedish forum about one year ago and the discussion was so infected in the end that it resulted in several members resignation from the club, no one came out a winner in that fight in mine opinion just losers.
This will happen when you have a large group of people, everybody thinks different based on their own life experience so the group will only reach 100% satisfaction for a short while (until the next disagreement).

The level of "internet bravery" in this thread is amazing.
Based upon my own dealings with Mark, I'm calling BS.
Mark has always been helpful and professional.
It's a shame that is so easy for folks to smear an individual and his business.

RoyBatty;
I would suggest (politely) that your post is of the same sort of "internet-bravery" that you are mocking others about. I think it is fair to tell everyone that all of your dealings with Mark have been "helpful and professional". But to say that anyone who has different experiences is relating "BS" (as you stated above) is to be just like the rest of the armchair referees who are impeaching Mark's conduct based on their own experiences.

I think that there are clearly things we do not know, on both sides of the issue. And that is okay. I think it was appropriate for both of them to be heard about it, but in my opinion, those of us who are NOT involved directly should now let it be. Use the information for what it is worth, certainly; if someone wants to re-read these threads before deciding to do business with Mark, that is their prerogative, and they now have the benefit of hearing from both parties, as well as from supporters of each, with corroborating experiences. Each person can make-up their own minds for themselves.

But let's back off of the rhetoric that is effectively dividing the forum in two.

Wow, I leave you guys for a few months and look what happens. :?
We all need to remember that bashing what few vendors we have for our Fiats is doing nothing but hurting our passion in the long run. I'm coming in on the tail end of the conversation, but we all need to keep in mind that problems with any vendor is a personal battle. If the vendor consistantly takes advantage of their customers or sells inferior products, they will not last long in such a small community as ours. I have great respect for both parties involved and I sincerely hope they are able to come to an agreement and make amends, but it ain't none of our business and it should not be aired on a public forum. Let's let this fade into history everyone. We have a wealth of information on this site and I hope all of this doesn't eventually kill what we all have contributed to.
