Very,Very disappointing

I am sorry to hear that a resolution to the problem between Brady and Mark couldnt be worked out,and that Brady has been banned from the forum.I have tried not to take sides ,as I dont know the entire story. Brady will move over to http://www.fiatspiders.com to post on his progress, but I will continue to lurk here until this is resolved.I am really disappointed. :(

Even though I haven't been here long it is a shame that someone gets banned and screwed at the same time just because this vendor won't back his products nor even communicate on this. What is this Fiatspiders.com?

There are a number of forums to keep us informed and share. Fiatspiders is just one of them, Mirafiori being another.

I have briefly followed the drama here, so dont know much detail. I am also a small business owner and recognized the amount of work that does into this product and the fact you dont have hundreds of these sitting on the shelf. It also looks like the problem is with the shipper and that is where the matter should be resolved, at least financially.

This is truly the Allison way. Have the last word, shut down and lock a thread from further response by anyone, banish anyone you disagree with, then bury head in the sand (so to speak).

I have witnessed in the past several members being banned due to poor sportsman like conduct by this individual. I recently read another poster's comment about all the "free and valuable advice" this character provides. Well honestly, if I had the reign of a forum where I could moderate AND SELL my crap...you betcha I'd be doing the same thing in hopes of selling MORE product. Afterall, this is the unscrupulous American way and if you ask me, on the shady side of the road.

Mr. Allison...will you also ban me for my opinion, and also lock down or even erase this thread and posting? I truly wonder what kind of reputation you have with the Chamber and BBB. Or, have you refused to be known with those organizations because of your repeated unprofessionalism?

In conclusion, next time you make an offer to a member to publicly disclose a situation, keep the thread open and take it like a man. When you moderate AND SELL here....we all have a right to know what transpired since you chose to operate this forum on the crooked side of professionalism and mannerisms.

And for the rest of you loyalists that support him...SHAME ON YOU! This is not an isolated incident and you betcha...it will happen again and I hope it isn't you. But when its you, trust me...it will then matter.

I too am disappointed, mostly that Brady has been banned. I have stayed out of it, because I don't know the details or both sides of the story, but don't think Brady did anything wrong. Most of the flaming and profanity were done by other members, that are still members of this site. I have dealt with Brady and Mark and have been pleased bythe transactions with both, so I am surprised a resolution could not be achived.

Unfortunately, Allison brings all this drama on to himself. It makes one wonder how successful his enterprise must be, when he has all this time to "give free advice" and maintain the daily censorship and dictatorship of this forum. Obviously, this forum is his main source of income. Why else would he behave in such an unprofessional manner? When a problem arises, he'll ban one member and move on to the next one. When things go array, he would rather focus on the short term (his pocketbook) as opposed to the long term (good business relationships).

As a result of his actions, the rest of you have suffered missing out on good input from banned members...Vick Autosports being another decent contributor.

And as far as this website is concerned, Allison is your president, dictator, and censor. And you loyalists are a bunch of deer that keep getting blinded by the light (Revved up like a deuce...another runner in the night!).

I echo Craig's sentiments. It is truly a shame if Brady was banned from this site.

I have to say I am disappointed as well. I have often checked out Brady's posts and really respect the work he's doing on his car. It's a shame that this problem could not be resolved, but I am left feeling confused and like something is being left out of the story.

I can't say I really know mark, but he has helped me out over the phone many times and sold me a very affordable (35$) gas tank that was much cheaper than my local fiat guy and other vendors wanted. When I went to pick up the tank, he was very accommodating and answered a ton of my dumb questions and I got the sense that he really cared about our cars, as well as the fiatspider.com community.

I know I don't post on here often but I'm on the site just about everyday and I have to say I am also disappointed that while Brady was banished for saying almost nothing discouraging or inappropriate, the user fiat218 has been running rampant posting incoherent and offensive nonsense on this site for the last year. Everyday I laugh at the jarbled, misspelled, and often ludicrous postings of this seemingly mentally deranged spider owner, however; I am left scratching my head as to why he is allowed to post offensive, curse ridden posts attacking other members, but someone posting a legitimate problem with an item many of us have considered purchasing has been banned.
