another good thing happened today

Post by BEEK »

the friend of mine who has my fiat parts inventory called me this past weekend, he told me that very soon he was going to tow the 24' box truck from atlanta to florida real soon. it was 10 years ago i packed all of the parts i could fit into this truck, when i closed my fiat parts business. there is 2-3 old dealer inventories and all the parts i accumulated new and some used over 20 years, i could not fit everything, so i was selective on what i put in there. i realy cannot remember exactly what is in there, it will be like christmas when i open the locks and see. i do remember it was packed front to back top to bottom with parts.

BEEK,I think kmac and me met him at Italian Car Day and The Mitty. He was telling us about a trailer load of Fiat parts.Same guy? He was disabled from a motorcycle wreck, and has a bunch of I cars. That day he brought a Alfa Berlina. We were drooling as he told us about all those parts.

No, I used to own "fiat imports" in Norcross ga, we were a fiat authorized parts dealer, and I had a fiat/lancia salvage yard with over 100 cars at any time. I purchased the inventory of “Asian Italian auto parts “who was a fiat junkyard for 20 years, for whom I worked for 10, we parted out over 2500 fiats there. I also bought out 3 dealership inventories back in the day. This truck contains the pick of the litter, the cream of the crop of the parts inventory I had left when I closed. 90% new parts and select few good used parts. This truck is literally stuffed front to back top to bottom with parts. I put shelves all along the walls and then stuffed them full of bin boxes of new parts, then filled the center from front to rear to the ceiling with parts as well. Unfortunately I have no idea of the condition of the inside today, the roof did not leak when we filled the truck and should be dry inside still. It’s been almost 10 years since the light of day has seen these parts.

Yeah I want to see how it looks as soon as you open the door. :P
That would be great if you got all your stuff back.
I'd be interested in an Ansa muffler and header/downpipe if in good shape.

ive used my header for 7 years and last summer i removed it welded the holes burned thru by the exh guy
grind and painted it then wraped it.a stock center pipe and the anza muffler went back on.
also i had to fit the gasket as it only had 1/8" to seal.now its mutch better

If you happen to come across a complete Abarth free-flow exhaust system for a 1969 124 spider, remember I asked first. :D
