i have a 1979 parts car with a vin zfaas00b4b8185651, any one know why its not like the other vins on my other cars

Don't know why... I found your posted VIN on Carfax, a 1981 Fiat Pininfiera.

As Ed said, that number is not from a '79, but falls in range with the 1981 Spiders.
The '79 VIN would start with 124CS2....
The '79 VIN would start with 124CS2....
